SUSPECTED DRUG PUSHER IN BONIFACIO MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL ARRESTED IN A BUY BUST OPERATION

BONIFACIO , MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL – A suspected drug pusher in the Municipality of Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental was arrested during a buy bust operation conducted by the authorities in the area.

The successful operation was conducted on November 1,2015 at 5:30 in the afternoon led by PI Lister Lofranco Ceriales the Officer In Charge of Bonifacio Municipal Police Station in joint operation with Provincial Public Safety Company ( PPSC ) led by PSI Reynaldo Sandigan and with proper coordination from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency ( PDEA ) in Region 10.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Godofredo Hetchanova Y Villanueva, a.k.a JunX2, 57 years old, married, jobless and a resident of Digson. Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental whom was at his residence during the said operation.

The police officers recovered from the possession of Hetchanova two pieces of small triangular heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be a white crystalline substance known as shabu , two pieces strip of aluminum foil. 300 peso bill, and six rectangular heat sealed transparent sachet believed to be a white crystalline substance known as shabu, six strip aluminum foil and one piece wallet color combination of green and maroon

In totality, the police officers recovered eight pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu and eight pieces strip of aluminum foil and the marked money used in buying the illegal drugs.

According to Ceriales, " the success of this operation was the result of the concerted and unified efforts of the people in Bonifacio because without them the police can’t proceed in our operation."

To recall, Bonifacio Mayor, Evelyn Dumanjug call on the police, to continue in its fight against all forms of illegal activities specially on illegal drugs so that the youth can be spared on the said activity . She congratulated the members of the PNP in her municipality for the success of the operation and hoping that whoever is believed to be under the influence of the said illegal drugs can be brought to justice.

As of press time, Hetchanova was detained at the PNP detention cell and faced the appropriate charges against him.
